I discovered this very interesting website called flightsfromhell.

It has anecdotes of people and their worst experiences while flying different airlines. While some of the stories were quite funny, some of them I thought were quite rude making fun of little children and infants. As a parent I know how hard it is for kids to behave on long haul flights and it is wrong on our part to expect them to be angelic as well.  Since it is a site for all kinds of experiences , luggage delays, flight attendant behavior, reclining seats, food and drink, odor and what have you unfortunately kids and infants form a category as well.

Remember those days when if you had a brick and mortar shop, you wanted it on the best location possible? You wanted it on a location where your shop will get the greatest foot fall. Because of the simple theory - like in any business, the more visibility you have, the better it is for your bottom-line. It's a numbers game! The truth is, not much has changed since then - you still need a real estate that is easy to get to, has high visibility and a healthy supply of warm bodies. What "has" changed is the location. Its not main street anymore it's the corner of the information super highway. Just to give you an example: A very popular night club (read pick-up joint) could easily draw ~800 people each night during the week-end. And that's very good. But some websites pull more than 1000 people every second, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. How's that for foot fall? Granted, in a nightclub, you have a captured audience for a few hours and with most websites, people could be in and out in matter of seconds - but still, just shear traffic-wise, its pretty darn good.

One site that I find myself constantly visiting is the “Internet Movie Database” or imdb.com.  I find this ironic because overall, I can’t stand the website.  Unfortunately, It is an incredibly useful, but poorly designed site.  It is certainly neither user-friendly nor eye-catching.  If I didn’t need the valuable information that the site provides, I definitely wouldn’t return to it regularly.
