Tripadvisor.com - A Review

Since I’ve been talking about Kayak.com, I feel a should mention a site I never go on vacation without checking first.  I won’t even book a known 5-star hotel without checking here first.  This site is Tripadvisor.com and it is brilliant.  In all of its snarky glory, it is completely brilliant.

Kayak.com - A Review

Oh to travel.  I love it.  I love to escape.  Particularly to exotic locales.  Or perhaps to Paris, or Rome.  Or maybe Prague or Peru.  Anywhere that is not here, really.  Wherever it may be, Kayak.com is where I start my adventure.  Kayak.com  is a brilliant travel website—you can book flights, hotels, cars and my favorite, vacation packages, from this one site.

Make My Trip - A Review

I was a travel agent for five years and I love to travel too so my favorite pastime is to look at travel websites and see what kind of deals they have to offer. Makemytrip.com is a site that caters mostly to the Indian Subcontinent. It is a pretty neat site with good deals and packages to and within India. They also offer fares and deals for trips outside India. The good thing about this site is the fares that they quote, include all the taxes and fees so the traveler knows exactly how much they have to pay without getting a rude shock later when they go to make the final payment. But I would like to warn those who get enticed by the super duper deals they keep flashing on their website. Don't get too excited until you have confirmed the booking. This is one way of luring customers and when they finally decide to make the booking, invariably those seats are  sold out!!! Some of their competitors would be yatra.com, travelchacha.com and primetravels.com

Old Navy

In trolling the internet, one site that I am constantly drawn to is oldnavy.com.  The internet site of the cheap and chic store with the same moniker, oldnavy.com is easily one of the most accessible and user friendly online clothing sites on the web.   Its neither flashy, nor cheaply done, and it is just how I like my websites.
